Mission Statement

The club’s mission is to provide a safe, clean, friendly environment in which families can enjoy recreational and competitive swimming through the efforts of its greatest asset – its lifeguards.


Frequently Asked Questions

How do I join the Swim Club?
The Tenakill Swim Club is a private club available for Tenafly residents as well as families from surrounding towns. In addition to the annual membership there is a one-time redeemable bond and application fee. Click here for membership details and forms.

How do I join the Swim & Dive Team?
Once the season is open, swim and dive team membership applications are available at the Swim Club office. There is a small (historically around $35) team membership fee.

What family events are there?
Periodically throughout the season we have a number of family events.  They include, Family Night, Children’s Night, Membership Appreciation, and “Take-Out, Take-In” night.

Who are the trustees?
The trustees are non-paid members who act as custodians for the balance of the club membership. Trustees are elected to three-year terms.

Who are the managers?
The pool manager is Amanda Bonan.
Assistant Managers Rob Sabatino, Hollie Arnold and Nicole Arfman.

How do I redeem my bond?
To resign your membership, and redeem your bond there is a process of sending in a resignation letter and your original bond to:

We are open from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
