Lessons are every weekday during the 2 week session (except holidays and weather permitting)

Beginner I: Times 11:30am - 12 noon

Beginner I swim lessons are for the purpose of allowing children to become more comfortable in the water. These classes will focus on walking in the water, using the wall and/or kickboard to kick and do big arms, blowing bubbles, etc.

Beginner II: Times 11:00am - 11:30am and 4:30pm - 5:00pm

Beginner II swim lessons are for swimmers who are just starting to learn freestyle and breaststroke. These classes will focus on floating, breathing technique, kicks, and strokes. Children must be able to stand independently in the shallow end of the pool in order to be permitted in this class.

Intermediate: Time 10:30am - 11:00am and 4:00pm - 4:30pm

Intermediate swim lessons are for swimmers who are comfortable with freestyle and working on their breaststroke. The lessons will focus on perfecting these two strokes, as well as working on backstroke. The butterfly stroke will be touched upon, but will not be worked on as thoroughly as in advanced lessons.

Advanced: Times 10:00am - 10:30am

Advanced swimming lessons are for swimmers who have already completed all other levels of swim classes. These swimmers should be competent in freestyle, breast- stroke, and backstroke. Advanced swim lessons will focus on the butterfly stroke, as well as speed and consistency.

Please note. A child must be potty trained before he or she is allowed in the main pool. Parents are not allowed in with the child during lessons, and a child will not be allowed the use of floatation devices.
